Aviation Media in India

The oldest aviation / aerospace magazine in India is Vayu Aero Space and Defence. This bi-monthly aviation and defence magazine from New Delhi is now in its 49th year of publishing. Second best is 100 Knots from Mumbai. And third best is Victor Tango Aviation.

We also like international media houses like Simple Flying from London, Aviation Week from New York, Aero Time from Ireland.

And then there are Aviation A2Z, Aviation World, Aero Mag Online, Cruising Heights, SP’s Aviation, Force India, Jet Aerna, Defence Star, Network Thoughts,  Indian Aerospace & Defence Bulletin, Aviation and Defence Universe and SAP Show Daily.

And finally there are personal blogs on aviation like Live From A Lounge by Ajay Awtaney. And the top journalists are Arindam Majumdar from Economic Times, Jagriti Chandra from The Hindu, Saurabh Sinha from The Times Of India and Ashoke Raj from ANI. We have to mention the legends like Jetwings from Jet Airways, Swagat from Indian Airline and Go Getter from Go First. All these are not in circulation now. The best inflight magazine today is from Indigo and it is called Hello 6E.

Leading Youtubers on Aviation in India are Capt. Gaurav Taneja (flying beast) with 8 million subscribers, Boeing Boy with over 400K subscribers, Captain Nitish Arora with around 40K subscribers, The Fly Tuber with 31K subscribers and Captain Neha ThakareĀ with 20K subscribers.
