Pune has many places for flying experiences, Lohegaon Pune International Airport PNQ, Hadapsar Gliding Club, Amby Valley Airstrip, Kamshet and Pawana Paragliding sites, Oxford Helipad and 9 other private helipads. Pune is the helicopter capital of India with around 16 helicopters registered here out of a total of around 150 registered in India.

Charters and joy rides are available from Mahalaxmi Aviation, Kagiu Aviation, Jet Matics, Silver Jubilee Aviation, Udaan Federal Aviation, Aero Leap, Jets on hire, Blade India, Velocity Charters and few others.

Ground Pilot Training is available at ALPS, Airline Prep School, IIA International Institute of Aviation, Vivines International, CNJAA, Aviation Training, Young Learners Aviation Academy, Sha Shib Edu and few others.
