Indigo is the largest airline in India today and is aiming to become the largest airline in the world in the next decade. Indigo was founded in 2006 by Rakesh Gangwal and Rahul Bhatia is one of the top 10 airlines in the world in terms of daily flights, fleet size, revenue and punctuality and load factor. In a recent development, Indigo has started their royalty program called “6E Rewards” in association with HDFC bank and Kotak Bank.
Indigo has a airline code 6E and its website and most social media accounts used the name Goindigo. We all love their new punchline “India by Indigo”. Indigo’s Linkedin Page shows close to 22,000 employees and over half a million followers. The Twitter Page has regular updates and close to half a million followers. Their Facebook Page has close to 2 million followers. Indigo is active on Whatsapp using a business account number on +91 7428081281. Indigo also maintains and updates their Trip Advisor Page. And last but not the least, their mobile apps. On Google Play Story with over 10 million downloads and 300K reviews. Indigo on Apple App Store is rated at 4.2 from 1.5K reviews today. We use this app for flight bookings and web checking.
Indigo is listed on Indian stock markets and is one of the top performing stocks in aviation globally. Mr. Pieter Elbers became the CEO of Indigo in 2022. He has been creating lots of positives waves on a regular basis.
